Each week up pops a new ‘marketing expert for birth workers’ but the thing about birth- unless you’re IN IT, you can’t possibly imagine it. The joy, the tears, the fears, the silence and the screams.

Holding hands, cleaning blood, assisting midwives, sharing stories, calming husbands..we cover it all. 

You’ll practice supporting other women immediately in our small group training- a big advantage from learning through a virtual platform and then feeling anxiety creep in about scheduling your first prenatal visit with a client.

Listening to birth stories, holding space in silence, hands-on comfort, labor movement, finding clients, educating mothers on their choices … all of this will be ‘been there, done that’ for you. 

I'm not teaching theory. This isn’t a sales course and it isn’t the basics of birth education. I'm actively supporting births and bringing all those real experiences straight to you. No more wondering "but what would I actually do if...?" We're covering what really happens in birth spaces and how to handle it all with grace and support.

You’ll leave our weekend together motivated to share what you know with mothers and armed with the skills of visibility to gain your first clients.

Each student spends a mentoring session with me personally after our weekend to solidify the details of your offers and answer any lingering questions.

DONA dropouts welcome! Many of my students started their doula training with other large organizations only to be asked for dues and told to support birth for free. No thanks. Any previous training will be a headstart and allow you to build out your offerings and skills more quickly with our group!

Is three days long enough to learn everything you need to support all mothers in birth? Nope! Neither is a lifetime. I’ll tell it to you straight- the best way to become a better doula is to serve mothers. This training gives you the tools and confidence to start serving along with a monthly call (hosted by me!) in The Circle as you navigate challenges and grow your business.
